Japan offers 735 job demand letters to Myanmar

The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo, Japan issued a notification that it received 234 job offers to recruit 735 Myanmar workers for companies in Japan. The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo sent the information about these demand letters to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after verification between 16 and 28 February.
A total of 353 men and 382 women will be recruited through the letters. The job demand letters were sent by the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and verified in a timely manner.
The verification process was performed by checking whether the labour supervision company in Japan and the recruitment factories and or companies are officially established in Japan, and by sending back the verification and findings on the documentary evidence and opinions to the MoL via the MoFA.
Myanmar workers from licenced employment agencies in Myanmar will be despatched to Japan through the received demand letters. — TWA/CT
