Drugs seized in Kunhing, Loilem townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a Mitsubishi outlander car driven by Sai Aung Kyaw Myat (aka) Aikepi on Kunhing-Karli Road in Kunghing township and captured 12.654 kilogrammes of heroin and eight kilogrammes of opium at 5:30 pm on 14 March.
At 2:00 pm on the same day, responsible personnel searched a Sunlong passenger bus driven by Aung Ko Min on Loilem-Taunggyi Road in Loilem township and seized 200,000 stimulant tablets in the car.
Offenders were prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
