Outstanding students visit fascinating places in Bagan Archaeological Zone

Grade-9 Outstanding students visited interesting places in Bagan Archaeological Zone including the lacquer industry, Lacquerware College (Bagan), Aungmyaygon Nantawya and Bagan Archaeological Museum on Tuesday morning.
A total of 160 students headed by Dr Soe Myint Tun (Deputy Director-General) of Bagan Outstanding Student Camp and teachers observed U Ba Nyein’s lacquerware businesses, lacquerware production lessons conducted by Lacquerware College (Bagan), Thiri Zeyya Bhumi Bagan Golden Palace, Aungmyaygon Nantawya, where King Anawrahta and King Kyansittha lived, and Bagan Archaeological Museum.
During their visit, officials from the Department of Archeology and National Museum (Bagan), in-charge of the Bagan Archeology Museum Daw Khet Khet Hla (Deputy Director), and officials from Lacquerware College (Bagan) explained in detail and students asked about their interesting facts and had group photos taken. — Depar Lin/KZL
