Tatmadaw (Air) delivers relief supplies to people affected by Cyclone Mocha in Rakhine State

Relief goods are loaded aboard the Tatmadaw aircraft to deliver them to storm-hit Rakhine State.

The Tatmadaw has sent a group of relief teams to areas affected by Cyclone Mocha and is carrying out the necessary relief work.
Food and relief items donated by Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, and Air) families and voluntary donors as well as items provided by the National Disaster Management Committee, are being transported by the Tatmadaw plane, helicopter and ship.
Tatmadaw planes transported 28 people including health workers and relief teams from Yangon Region, commodes, toilet pipes, fried dried fish, instant noodles, potatoes, biscuits, canned chickens, canned fish, sausage packs, tarpaulin sheets, communication devices, medical equipment, MPT communication items, and relief items from Mingaladon Airport, Yangon, to Sittway Airport three times yesterday.
Officials received the items that arrived by the Tatmadaw planes and will continue to distribute them to the relevant departments. — MNA/KZL
