Union Commerce Minister attends 5th Western China International Fair for Investment & Trade

The Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo attended the opening ceremony of the 5th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Chongqing, China, yesterday.
The Union minister and party viewed round the international galleries including Myanmar at the fair. A total of 824 booths from 36 countries at the fair will be exhibited from 18 to 21 May with the aim of enhancing cooperation between western China and trading partner countries.
After the opening ceremony, the Myanmar delegation led by the Union minister attended a lunch hosted by Mr Li Mingqing, Deputy General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (Chongqing), and friendly discussed matters on enhancing trade and investment between the two countries and increasing the export of Myanmar agricultural produce. — MNA/MKKS
