MYEA’s new executive members elected

The MYEA (Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association) elected the 2023-2026 new executive members on 23 September. At the event, Daw Thin Thin Kyaw was elected as chairperson of MYEA.
“The young people have creative ideas, innovative ideas and ability to do than the finance,” said the newly elected chair.
The eighth annual general meeting of MYEA was held with a hybrid system.
“Each of the members should work together with the organizations to receive a good economic community. We have valuable members, and they are excellent young entrepreneurs. To be a successful association, it needs the enjoyment of members in addition to the work processes. The members also should be in unity,” said Dr Aung Thura, patron of MYEA.
Under the guidance and support of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Group was formed in November 2008. The Group participated actively in local and regional entrepreneurship development events and grew rapidly. The Group was upgraded and became the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA) 2012.
“The effort of young entrepreneurs is needed to support watching the changing global businesses in a timely manner. Running a business is not perfect just with the techniques and qualifications, it needs guidance in the right way by sharing experiences and knowledge. The federation will work with the skilled young entrepreneurs and associates in private-business development programmes,” said U Aye Win, president of UMFCCI. — TWA/KTZH
