24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) continues its 2nd day

The 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) continued its second day at designated venues in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The competitions included amateur level (first class), amateur level (second class), higher education level, basic education level (aged 15 to 20) and basic education level (aged 10 to 15).
The contestants from various regions and states participated in the “Maha Gita” singing competition, “Karlapaw tay (modern song)” competition, dance competition, composing competition, piano competition, harp competition, Oh Si (Myanmar traditional drums) competition, Myanmar orchestra group competition, “Yotesone” theatrical group competition and Mahawthahta play competition which took place at designated venues yesterday.
State Administration Council members, Union-level officials, deputy ministers, ministers for Ethnic Affairs and Ministers for Social Affairs of regions and states, advocates-general, relevant officials, departmental staff and parents of contestants attended the competitions.
The sub-committees are organized for the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition to facilitate transport, accommodation, food, health, competition-related information and security of the contestants, judges and mentors, and convenience stores, food stalls, barber shops, beauty salons and book shops are also open.
The 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition is the second event held in the term of SAC, and so the relevant officials make efforts to hold it on a grand scale with the government’s support. — MNA/KTZH
