6th MFF Congress 2023 held for football development

The 6th Myanmar Football Federation-MFF Congress 2023 was held yesterday by Video Conferencing, and Myanmar Football Federation and Asian Football Confederation officials attended it.
Asian Football Confederation President Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahin1 Al Khalifa and Asian Football Confederation Vice President U Zaw Zaw who is also a President of the Myanmar Football Federation delivered speeches at the event.
Next, Vice President of the Myanmar Football Federation Dr Sai Seng Htun explained the financial situation of the Myanmar Football Federation in line with the support of FIFA.
According to the financial statement of 2023, the total operating expenditure of the Myanmar Football Federation was US$6,183,734, so there was a deficit of US$666,255.
Next, U Wan Tin, Managing Partner of JF Group (Audit Firm) explained the 2022 financial year report of the external audit team regarding the financial statements of the Myanmar Football Federation. Furthermore, U Zaw Min Sein, Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, gave a further explanation regarding the Statutes of the Myanmar Football Federation (Edition – 2023).
In the briefing of the Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee, it was announced that the Myanmar Football Federation executive election will be held on 30 March 2024.
The conference continued with congressional programmes such as the presentation of the 2024 budget forecast and the counting of votes and ratifications. Then, the conference was concluded with the final speech of the MFF President U Zaw Zaw. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
