The preliminary list of 19 players of the Myanmar futsal team that will compete in the friendly match to be held in Surabaya, Indonesia, was released on 29 January.
The Myanmar National Futsal Team will compete in Group A of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 with hosts Thailand, Viet Nam, and China, starting from 20 January.
Team Myanmar prepared for training at the Thuwunna Stadium with nine coaching members and 24 preliminary players. Head coach Mr Bunlert Charongwong preliminarily selected 19 players who will attend the friendly match after a week of training.
The Myanmar squad left for Surabaya, Indonesia, on 5 February and will take on the Indonesian Futsal League champion Bintang Timur Futsal Club team on 7 and 9 February and the Regional East Java Team on 10 February. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
