Free business management course, job creation for youth

In addition to the chance to join a free business management course, the programme will also create jobs for youths who have no work experience at Myanmar Tourism Bank, said Kudos To You Professional Development Academy’s chief trainer and founder U Kaung Nyein Soe.
To implement the project, a memorandum of understanding was signed between MTB officials and Kudos To You Professional Development Academy, and those who want to work in the banking and financial service industry will have the opportunity to learn free about necessary basic skills and workplace experience.
“The age limit is between 18 and 25, and they must have at least matriculation level education. This is the first project in 2024. Before COVID-19, we also provided a followership programme but without scholarships. Myanmar Tourism Bank gave us sponsorship this time as they have job vacancies. We will proceed with these programmes very soon and cooperate with other companies,” he said. This programme will train for sales and marketing and service skills in particular, as well as HR and finance knowledge, ethics and etiquette for 40 hours, plus 30-day internship training at Myanmar Tourism Bank. MTB would employ outstanding interns.
“Youths should not be unemployed because they have no experience. That is why we will implement this programme to help youths get access to job opportunities. The duration is a week, and a one-month internship will be included. After that, they will have to take exams, and thorough examination will follow,” said U Kaung Nyein Soe.
Young people who have a passion for working in the banking and financial service industry can apply, and applicants will be interviewed and selected. — MT/ZS
