Malicious media outlets are circulating false reports claiming that Tatmadaw arrested over 40 youths in Monywa, Sagaing Region, on the evening of 11 February, causing fear and empty streets.
In fact, these reports are untrue, and locals from Monywa are continuing their daily activities without disruption. These subversive media outlets aim to undermine public patriotism and instil fear, particularly following the government’s implementation of the People’s Military Service Law. — MNA/TRKM
