Chairperson of Naga nationality literature and culture association U Khoung Shai stated that the Naga nationality traditional dance course aims to hand over dancing techniques to the new generations at Naga field in Htanpakhwe of Lahe in Naga Self-Administered Zone.
Naga ethnic men, women and youths attended the opening ceremony of the dance course. Chieftain of Htanpakhwe U Haw Hmo and Chairperson of the association U Khoung Shai gave opening speeches.
U Khoung Shai said, “We aim for the new generation to be able to adore and preserve the Naga traditions and traditional dances.”
Naga nationality dance troupes gave training to the choreography of the traditional songs to some 30 Naga youths. — ASH/ TRKM
