Vero Nika (rightmost) and Fahsai (leftmost) are seen with excitements after their bout.

In the Muay Thai Fighter of Myanmar Vero Nika faced shock loss to the opponent named Fahsai in three rounds by points, despite having more talents during the bout of the Thai Fight that took place at 8:00 pm Myanmar standard time on 25 February.
In the match, Vero Nika was able to attack her opponent for three rounds with the advantage of ability. But according to the scoring rules, the referee gave Fahsai the win. Therefore, Vero Nika’s undefeated streak was also broken.
“When a fighter comes to compete in other countries, she has to win if she can throw down. If she can’t do that in three rounds, judges will declare their nationals as a winner. Looking at this match, Vero Nika ability is far more superior than the opponent,” commented a local sports news analyst.
Regarding the fight Vero Nika wrote on her social media page that, “I’m sorry everyone. It was a very tiring match. I’m really sorry that I couldn’t keep the win”. — Htun Htun/KZL
