Fake news spread, gathering 20 people each from wards in Aungmyaythazan Tsp

Aungmyaythazan sskm

The malicious media intentionally spread fake news, claiming that the ward administrators of Aungmyaythazan Township of Mandalay Region were instructed to gather 20 people to serve in the military.
According to a security official, the news about the gathering of 20 people from each of the wards in Aungmyaythazan Township of Mandalay Region is invalid. As the people know, the malicious media have been spreading misinformation and disinformation daily to instil fear in the people since the People’s Military Service Law came into force.
The provisions of the People’s Military Service Law are concerned not only with one township and one village but also with all the eligible people across the nation. Therefore, the people can contact the Central Committee for Summoning People’s Military Servants for the information they want, and the state-owned media also releases phone numbers. — MNA/KTZH
