G7 Motorcycle Showroom in Hpa-an, Kayin State, has imported and introduced three-seat hybrid motorized tricycles that run on gasoline and batteries to Myanmar.
The three-wheelers, imported from Viet Nam, have four 60V batteries that can be charged while driving for those who don’t want to use petrol.
“Most of the buyers are from Hpa-an. We imported these trikes to try to sell them. All the buyers are for private use. It has high torque. With the charging function, the batteries can be recharged while driving,” said an official from the showroom.
When fully charged, it can run the whole day at average speed and is priced at K2.8 million with a two-year warranty.
It is available for cash on delivery in Hpa-an metro, and those wishing to see it for themselves before buying are invited to the showroom at No 4, Ohntaw street, Hpa-an, near the Clock Tower, Kayin State. — Htet Oo Maung/ZN
