Rent permit application to be sold in advance for 400 rooms of Thukha Dagon Housing

For rooms which will be completed in the next phase of Thukha Dagon Housing located in Dagon Myothit (South), Yangon Region, rent permit application forms will be presold, and totallig more than 400 rooms are expected to be available for rent in around May, according to Department of Urban and Housing Development (DUHD –YGN).

Rooms at Thukha Dagon rental housing which is under construction near No.2 Main Road and Yangon Ring Road in Dagon Myothit (South) will be rented to Yangon residents, retirees and serving civil servants who are in need of accommodation at a specified rental price.

The ordinary people and retirees who want to apply rent permit can buy application forms at respective township administration offices where they reside as from 25 March during office hours and resubmit forms after filling in to township administration offices where they bought.

Similarly, civil servants who are still serving in Yangon Region can buy application forms at Yangon Region Department of Urban and Housing Development’s director office, along with respective department heads’ recommendation for being in need of accommodation, and will have to resubmit according to different departments.

Applications for rooms completed in the third phase of the housing project will have to be resubmitted by 30 April during office hours and late submissions will not be considered.

Information about the rent permit can be available on Yangon Region Government website www.yangon.gov.mm and DUHD-Ygn Facebook Page, and detailed information can be inquired to 09 699998814 and 09 421259682 during office hours, according to the housing’s regulatory committee. – MT/ZS
