Appointment token which was initially scheduled to give on the first day of Thingyan (13 April) will be postponed to 21 April, said Myanmar Embassy in Thailand.

The embassy announced that it will close during Thingyan holidays from 13 April (Saturday) to 21 April (Sunday). Therefore, 13 April, the first day of Thingyan, is a Myanmar New Year holiday and appointment token for that day will be replaced with another date.

As of 2 December 2023, on every Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, appointment token has been given at the embassy’s new building for Myanmar nationals holding PJ passports and working at factories and workshops.

For those who are working at factories, workshops and other workplaces by holding CI, the embassy has started providing a mobile team service for switching to PJ passport as of 9 March 2024, the embassy announced on 9 March.
