Action to be taken if operation is detected during power restricted time

The Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation has issued a request to businesses and industries in wards and villages that consume electricity in the set public groups in Yangon Region not to operate with electricity of YESC during the restricted time from 5 pm to 5 am from 23 April.
During this limited time, the electricity distributed YESC and the operation of the meter will be photographed and recorded.
If it is found that the violation has been committed, action will be taken against offenders according to the administrative method.
During this summer, the Yangon Electric Power Corporation has announced that emergency load reduction and alternate load reduction are required to distribute power in order to avoid power outages in the national grid network due to high temperature day and night, power consumption increases, annual maintenance and repair of generators, and power generation, transmission, and consumption imbalances, and because of the 230 KV and 132 KV Lawpita national grid towers were repeatedly blown up and there is a decrease in the power produced and transmitted from the generator-1, 2 and 3 on Bilu Creek. —TWA/KZL
