ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Council Senior Officials meeting held

The 4th Meeting of the ASEAN Working Group on the Declaration on Culture of Prevention (CoP) for a Peaceful, Inclusive, Resilient, Healthy and Harmonious Society and the 30th Meeting of the Senior Officials Committee for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Council, organized by Brunei and ASEAN Secretariat, took place through video conferencing on 29 and 30 March.
Director-General U Aung Myint of Historical Research and National Library Department and delegates attended the meeting. The meetings focused on action plans of relevant working groups for six culture of prevention (CoP) tasks, work procedure for road map 2025 of ASEAN Social-Cultural Community, application of Timor-Leste to the membership of ASEAN, facts to be submitted to the 25th ASEAN Social-Cultural Community Council Ministers’ Meeting, a statement to be approved by ASEAN leaders at the 38th ASEAN Summit and procedures for putting it on record. — MNA
