CBM Governor receives Russian Ambassador, Bangladeshi Ambassador

Central Bank of Myanmar Governor Daw Than Than Swe met Ambassador Mr Iskander Azizov of the Russian Federation and had a friendly and open discussion on the mutual use of payment card systems to facilitate the payment and tourism sectors between Myanmar and Russia and support for the banking sector yesterday.
Similarly, the governor met Bangladeshi Ambassador Dr Md Monwar Hossain in Nay Pyi Taw and discussed matters related to the business conditions between the banks of the two countries, including the possibility of direct payment in trade with Bangladesh Taka/Myanmar Kyat to develop the bilateral trade and the rice export from Myanmar to Bangladesh. — MNA/MKKS
