Chinese PLA delegation visits Myanmar Naval Headquarters

A delegation headed by Senior Captain Sun Bo, Commander of Operations of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), on a goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, visited the Naval Training Headquarters yesterday morning.
The goodwill delegation discussed the maritime security exercise with Tatmadaw (Navy) officials and donated stationery to the students studying at the Basic Education High School (Seikkyi) in Thanlyin District.
Then, in the evening, the commander of the local naval command hosted a dinner for the friendship delegation.
In addition, Tatmadaw (Navy) officers and other ranks boarded and studied the Chinese warships, and the delegation also went on study tours to famous places in Yangon. — MNA/KZL
