Construction of advanced Mingala market currently 72 per cent complete

The advanced Mingala market under construction in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon has reached 72 per cent completion.
The construction of the new market has 15 floors, including two underground floors, and the first level of shops and 4,065 shops from the ground floor to the 4th floor has been handed over to the Yangon City Development Committee and is scheduled to be completed in mid-2024.
According to the project, the second phase, which is the high-rise 5th to 15th floors, is still under construction. The shops that will be handed over to the Yangon City Development Committee will be 25 square feet in size and the second-level section will be 100 square feet in size, with 20 escalators and 750 parking spaces.
The entire construction work of the new market will be targeted for a 100-per cent completion in 2025. — TWA/KZL
