Contestants show off brilliant fine arts skills and talent in Performing Arts Competition

The 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition continued for the sixth day at relevant venues in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The singing contest under the title of national prestige and integrity took place at Singing Room of MICC-II with participants in the higher education men’s event and the women’s amateur (second class) level. The ethnic traditional/folkdance (open) dancing contest was also held at Plenary Hall of MICC-II.
Moreover, contestants took part in the song-composing amateur level (second class), the men’s and women’s amateur level (first class), basic and higher education boys’ and girls’ Donmin contests at News Briefing Hall.
In the orchestra solo contest, contestants from regions and states, boys and girls from basic education level showed off their brilliant skills. Similarly, the xylophone contest, narration of religious or historical stories, marionette troupe and drama contests also took place at relevant venues. The competitions were enjoyed by members of the State Administration Council, Union-level officials, deputy ministers, ethnic affairs and social affairs ministers from regions and states, advocade-generals and departmental personnel as well as people. During the competition period, medics provide healthcare services to contestants and audiences. — MNA/TTA
