Deputy Prime Minister U Win Shein opens the Public Financial Management Special Refresher Course No 5 yesterday.

The opening ceremony of the No 5 Public Finance Management Special Refresher Course was held yesterday at the Public Finance Management Training School of the Ministry of Planning and Finance, Nay Pyi Taw.
Deputy Prime Minister U Win Shein highlighted that the development of political, economic and social affairs of a country depends on the strengthening of public financial management; that it is necessary to have a good public financial management system and to be able to produce civil servants with full capacity; that the field of public financial planning is to increase the sources of financing; the systematic distribution of expenses and monitoring whether allocated expenses can be used efficiently and effectively.
The Deputy Prime Minister called on trainees to study the contents of public financial management subject thoroughly and utilize them systematically in their work.
The No 5 Public Financial Management Special Refresher Course was attended by planning and finance in-charge persons at the central level and ministerial level totalling 40 trainees and training will last four weeks. — MNA/TS
