Drugs seized in Bago, Nyaungshwe townships

Drugs were seized in Bago and Nyaungshwe townships, the Myanmar Police Force stated.
A combined team consisting of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force examined suspicious Yan Min Aung and Kyaw Myint Tun on Bogyoke Aung San Street, Otha Myothit 4 quarter in Bago at 1:15 pm on 7 October. Officials found 9,750 stimulant tablets from them. Similarly, a combined team consisting of the Shan State Police Force examined suspicious Maung Lay near Ingyingon village, Thaleoo village-tract in Nyaungshwe Township at 2:40 pm on 6 October and they found 1,100 stimulant tablets from him. Those suspects were prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
