Drugs seized in Hpa-an, Yephyu townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Police Task Force searched a motorbike driven by Maung Maung Htwe (aka) Maung Htwe on Nawnglon-Paingyan village road near Paingyan village of Hpa-an township at 5.50 pm on 28 October and seized 10,000 stimulant tablets.
In addition, at 1:30 pm on the same day, a combined team including the Anti-Narcotics Police Task Force examined a motorbike driven by Saw Palar Wah at the Mahlwetaung Checkpoint in Yephyu township and captured 9,600 stimulant tablets.
The suspects are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to the Myanmar Police Force. — MNA
