Drugs seized in Mayangon, Hmawby and Monghkat townships

Drugs were seized in Mayangon, Hmawby and Monghkat townships, according to Myanmar Police Force.
A combined team consisting of members of the Yangon Region Police Force searched a Toyota Belta car driven by Htet Lin Kyaw accompanied by Ma Zun Lae Yi Phyo and Nay Lin and seized 22,000 stimulant tablets with K208,500.
In addition, at 2:10 pm on the same day, a combined team including members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched the house of Nay Myo Win (aka) Nay Myo in Hmawby township and found Chit Ko with him. Police Force captured 10,000 stimulant tablets and 0.09 kilogramme of Ice, and three kilogrammes of Ice from Chit Ko.
At 4 pm, Police examined a motorbike driven by Kyanu at the combined checkpoint in Monghkat township and seized 3,900 stimulant tablets.
The offenders are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
