Fault of 33kV power line over (Thakayta- North Dagon) Ngamoeyeik River under repairs

The 33kV power line that supplies electricity to Thingangyun Township, Yangon, over (Thakayta-North Dagon) Ngamoeyeik River broke down near the river crossing tower at 5:20 pm on 10 September.
The downed power line is being repaired in a timely manner by Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation officials.
It is being repaired by electricians from Power Supply Department of Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation, Overhead Cable Installation Division, the Yangon Eastern District Electrical Manager’s Office and the relevant township manager offices, officials said.
Therefore, the YESC has announced that after the repair of the broken power line, electrification will be restored in the near future.— TWA/GNLM
