Indonesia provides humanitarian aid to storm victims

A ceremony to hand over humanitarian aid provided by the Indonesian government and people was held at Yangon International Airport for Mocha victims yesterday night.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein expressed thanks to Lt-Gen Suharyanto and members of the Indonesian National Disaster Management Committee, and said that the donated items will be delivered quickly to all the people in areas affected by the natural disaster, including Rakhine State.
After that, Lt-Gen Suharyanto handed over the donated items to the Yangon Region chief minister and they exchanged gifts.
Donated items include 1,000 rolls of tarpaulin, 15 sets of canvas tents, 150 sets of family tents, 15,000 packages of instant food, 1,500 sets of disease prevention accessories, 5,000 blankets, 200 mattresses and 100 2KVA generators. — MNA/KZW
