Japanese companies to recruit over 900 Myanmar workers

The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo announced on 15 August that a total of 918 Myanmar workers will be recruited again for companies in Japan.
The embassy verified demand letters from 1 to 15 August, assessed the legal status of recruiting companies, and then reported its findings to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which, on its part, forwarded them to the Ministry of Labour.
In the post-Covid period, Japan’s demand for Myanmar workers is rising and those who are interested in working officially in Japan can make inquiries at the Region/State, township and district offices of the labour department and will have to follow the required procedures. — TWA/MKKS
