Kuwaiti Embassy in Yangon hosts reception to mark Kuwait’s Independence Day, National Day

A reception hosted by Kuwaiti Embassy in Yangon marking 63rd Kuwait National Day and 33rd Anniversary of Kuwait’s Independence Day in progress on yesterday.

Union Minister for the Ministry of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office (1) U Ko Ko Hlaing and wife attended the reception to mark the 63rd Kuwait National Day and the 33rd Anniversary of Kuwait’s Independence Day at Lotte Hotel in Yangon on yesterday.
The ceremony was opened with national anthems of Myanmar and Kuwait. Kuwaiti Ambassador Mr Mubarak Muhanna Eissa Aladwani extended greetings. The Union Minister and the Kuwaiti Ambassador cut the commemorative cake. They all had the dinner hosted by the Kuwaiti Ambassador.
Also present at the dinner were Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and wife, Yangon Region Minister for Development Affairs U Bo Htay and wife, ambassadors from foreign missions in Yangon and diplomats, military attachés and officials from UN agencies. — MNA/TTA
