Lancang-Mekong Cooperation offers free bakery & pastry training course

Under the supervision of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Yangon), a free basic bakery and pastry training course will be offered as part of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation special programme.
The course will cover 48 recipes from global countries for bakery and pastry. The number of trainees for each batch is limited to 20. Applicants for the course must be between the ages of 18 and 40 and have completed basic education at the middle school level.
Applicants will have to go through a step-by-step selection process, including screening tests and interviews. If selected, they must pay a K50,000-deposit before the training begins. The deposit will be refunded upon course completion.
The course is scheduled to run from December 2023 to January 2024, with a total duration of 120 hours. Classes will be conducted five days a week, six hours a day, from Monday to Friday.
The training course will be held at the Tourism Development Centre, located at No 40/42, Bo Soon Pat Street, Pabedan Township. Those interested in attending must submit their applications by 31 October. — TWA/CT
