Malicious media outlets have been circulating false news claiming that Tatmadaw killed twelve Pa-O ethnic people who refused to go to the military front line in Hsihseng Township, Shan State (South).
However, an official from the regional security forces has refuted this fake news. According to their statement, Tatmadaw is collaborating with members of the Pa-O militia in security operations within and around Hsihseng Township, all in the interest of peace and stability in the area.
These malicious media outlets are deliberately spreading false information on social media platforms, intending to cause misunderstanding and undermine unity between ethnic communities and Tatmadaw. — MNA/TKO
