According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Myanmar participated in the ASEAN Culture Day ceremony jointly organized by the embassies of ASEAN countries based in Washington, United States of America, and Associates of the American Foreign Service Worldwide (AAFSW).
The ceremony was held on 30 October at the Dean Acheson Auditorium at the US Department of State.
During the ASEAN Culture Day event, the ASEAN embassies presented national cultural performances and hosted the US State Department officials and guests with traditional food of ASEAN countries.
In hosting such entertainment, the Myanmar Embassy performed the performance of the Myanmar Water Festival Dance, served traditional Myanmar food, and introduced Myanmar scenic video clips to the attendees. Around 400 diplomats attended the ceremony. — ASH/KZL
