Ministry of Information holds Myanmar traditional Htamane-making competition

Competing teams of relevant departments are ready to start Htamane-making competition of Ministry of Information yesterday.

The Ministry of Information held Myanmar traditional Htamane-making competition in Nay Pyi Taw to preserve Myanma traditions, to foster the team spirit of the staff for better cooperation among the departments and to have mutual close friendship and happiness.
Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and wife, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint and wife, the Permanent Secretary and wife, departmental heads and all the staffs participated in the Htamane-making competition happily.
The Union minister delivered an opening speech and enjoyed Htamane-making event.
The Deputy minister and wife awarded consolation prize-winning teams. The Union Minister and wife awarded the first, second and third prizes to the Department of Information and Public Relations, News and Periodicals Enterprise and the Department of Printing and Publishing respectively. After that, the Union Minister gave a bicycle to the Myanma Radio and Television. — MNA/TRKM
