Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin receives Thai Ambassador Mr Mongkol Visitstump yesterday.

Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received Mr Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 1 pm on 7 December 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the courtesy call, the Union minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They candidly exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further elevation of the existing friendly bilateral ties, and intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation across areas of common interests, including trade, investment and tourism, as well as closer collaboration in regional and multilateral arenas. — MNA
