MoHT DY Minister inspects development of tourism industry in Mandalay Region

Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe inspects hotels and their surrounding areas in PyinOoLwin Township on 3 February 2024.

Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe visited the information counter operated by the ministry at Mandalay International Airport on 3 February and gave necessary instructions to the officials.
At the ministry’s counter, domestic and foreign tourists travelling through airlines can easily find out information about Myanmar’s travel areas, tourist attractions and information that they want to know.
The Deputy Minister inspected Nan Myaing Hotel, Thiri Myaing Hotel and Gandhamma Myaing Hotel in PyinOoLwin Township to ensure that the hotel premises and surroundings are green, clean and beautiful that contributes to health and safety of the tourists who stay in the hotels.
During the inspection, the Deputy Minister instructed officials that photos and videos of PyinOoLwin’s natural beauty and unique attractions must be promoted through well-known media channels and online media, while arranging tours in cooperation with travel agencies in order to attracts more domestic and oversea tourists. — MNA/TKO
