MoI officers, staff recount experiences on oversea trips

An experience sharing workshop of officers and staff who returned from oversea paper reading event, workshops and meetings was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
In his speech, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said the knowledge sharing event is conducted to improve the work processes based on the international experiences. Those made foreign trips for meetings, discussions, paper reading and excursion should apply such international experiences in their working environment effectively and make efforts to develop their departments and work plans.
Then, Deputy Director General of Media Development Department U Zeyar made a video presentation for his experiences of attending 23rd ASEAN Subcommittee Meeting on Information held in Hanoi of Viet Nam, Director of MRTV Daw Moe Thuzar Aung about roundtable discussion of Asia Video Industry Association and Asia Video Summit held in Singapore, Director of Media Development Department U Aung Myo Thant about 7th media working group meeting held in Cambodia, Staff Officer of MRTV Daw Tin Tin Myat about paper reading session on ASEAN characteristic and enhancement of ASEAN-Korea cooperation held in Indonesia and Assistant Director of Media Development Department Daw Myat Kyay Mon about workshop on capacity building of TV broadcasters through documentary programme production on marine plastic waste held in Viet Nam.
Then, the Union Minister and participants raised questions for the facts that they wanted to know. — MNA/KTZH
