Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspected the entertainment programmes and rehearsals of the Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra yesterday, which will perform at the dinner party to mark the 76th Independence Day at MRTV station in Yangon.
First, MRTV Director-General U Ye Naing explained the practice sessions of the orchestra, technical assistance of the sound system and other administrative-related matters.
The Union minister then gave proper instructions and suggestions regarding the intro music, songs and melodies.
He also gave cash awards to the members of the Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra and artistes.
The Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra of MRTV is organized to entertain at the State-level ceremonies, receptions for foreign guests and on foreign trips.
Now, the orchestra is preparing and practising to perform at the dinner event for the 76th Independence Day. — MNA/KTZH
