MoTC DM inspects railway upgrading work in Shan State

MoTC Deputy Minister U Aung Myaing and party inspect the upgrading work in Shan State.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Communications U Aung Myaing inspected the construction of the new Pin Pat-Naungka railway, upgrading of the Shwenyaung-Ayethaya-Pawmu-Htithein-Yayhwetoo-Taunggyi railway section and stations in Kalaw, Aungban, Shwenyaung and Taunggyi from 26 to 28 January 2023.
The deputy minister exhorted officials to construct the new Pin Pat-Naungka railway systematically and on time keeping in line with set standards and qualities during his inspection tours.
He also instructed officials from Kalaw, Aungban, Shwenyaung, and Taunggyi stations to ensure cleaning and greening, growing flowering plants at the stations and station yards, and the convenience of passengers. — MNA/KZW
