The Myanmar delegation led by the director-general of the Department of Public Health, Ministry of Health, left Yangon for Indonesia via Malaysia to attend the ASEAN senior officers meeting on health cooperation in the prevention of infectious diseases to be held from 15 to 17 March in Bali, Indonesia.
In the meeting, they will exchange experiences on the integration of public health, animal health and environmental health with a one health approach, and the forthcoming 42nd ASEAN Summit to be held in May will encompass deliberations regarding the issue of the One Health Approach declaration. — MNA/KZW
