Myanmar delegation returns from productive study tour on China’s development initiatives

At the invitation of the Department of International Affairs, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China, a Myanmar delegation led by U Myint Thein, a member of the Union Election Commission, recently concluded a study tour to the People’s Republic of China. The delegation arrived back at Yangon International Airport yesterday.
During the study tour, the Myanmar delegation closely observed and engaged in discussions on various aspects of China’s development projects. These included initiatives focused on improving transport for the development of the western province, enhancing basic agricultural activities in rural areas, setting goals for poverty elimination, preserving ethnic solidarity and cultural heritage, promoting tourism, and facilitating modern development in the eastern province of the People’s Republic of China. These transformative initiatives were executed under the guidance of the Communist Party of China.
The study tour offered valuable insights and potential areas of collaboration, paving the way for further interactions between Myanmar and China in the realm of developmental strategies and policies. — MNA/TS
