Myanmar delegation to attend Regional Malaria Steering Committee Meeting, WHO’s Regional Malaria Meeting in Thailand

Two representatives from the Ministry of Health left Yangon for Thailand by air yesterday to attend the Regional Malaria Steering Committee Meeting and WHO’s Regional Malaria Meeting in Thailand from 22 to 29 November.
The steering committee holds its meeting every six months and representatives from Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Viet Nam and Thailand and from related organizations in the region will attend and discuss measures to fight anti-artemisinin resistance malaria in these countries. — MNA
