Myanmar, India discuss Agri-development cooperation

Union Minister U Min Naung of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Vinay Kumar and a delegation at the ministry yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
They cordially discussed the Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), the enhancement of the role of the two countries in regional cooperation, the human resource development in the agricultural sectors between the two countries, cooperation in research and technology, imports and exports of agricultural products between Myanmar and India.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Dr Tin Htut and responsible officials. — MNA/TS
