Myanmar suffer 0-4 loss to Japan in invitational tourney

Myanmar U-17 Women’s National Team played against Japan’s U-17 Women’s National Team in the Group C match JENESYS U-17 Women’s Football Memorial Cup held under the ASEAN Friendship and Cultural Exchange Program in Okinawa City on 17 March.
Team Myanmar faced a 0-4 loss to Asian powerhouse Japan.
The Japanese team scored three goals in the first half and one goal in the second half.
The Myanmar U-17 Women’s National Team will take on the Philippines U-17 Women’s National Team on 19 March, and after the group matches, they will continue to compete for ranking on 20 and 21 March. In the Group D match, the Thailand team beat Timor 13-0, and Viet Nam trounce Malaysia 3-0 in Group A. Meanwhile, the Cambodia team snatched the Indonesia team 2-0 in Group B. — KZL
