Myanmar team to compete in 14th ASIAN Dragon Boat Championship

Myanmar boat team will compete in the 14th ASIAN Dragon Boat Championship to be held from16 November to 22 November in Pattaya, Thailand, and Traditional Boat and International Swan Boat Race 2022 to be held from 22 November to 26 November near Chao Phraya River, Bangkok.
The Myanmar rowing team will compete in the Asian dragon rowing competition for men and women in 200 m, 500 m, and 1,000 m, and will also compete in the traditional Thai rowing competition.
Teams from Australia, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, and Thailand will participate in the Asian Dragon Boat Rowing Competition.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and Cabinet Ministers congratulated the Myanmar Rowing Team that will compete in the competition yesterday morning at the Myanmar Rowing Federation office in Inya Lake, Yangon.
At the rate of one hundred thousand kyats per athlete, K4 million in total was awarded to 40 athletes. – Bala Soe/GNLM
