Myanmar to play Thailand today for AFF U-16 Championship 3rd place

The 2022 ASEAN U-16 Championship third-place match and the final will continue today, and the Myanmar team will play the third-place match against the Thai team.
Team Myanmar match will begin at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time and the final match between Viet Nam and Indonesia will start at 7:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
The Myanmar team had good conditions to qualify for the finals, but in the semi-finals, they lost host team Indonesia on penalty kicks and will fight for third place today.
The Myanmar team won two games without losing in the group matches. They qualified for the semi-finals after finishing first in the group with a draw. In the semi-finals, they were able to draw against Indonesia at halftime and were defeated on penalty kicks.
The Thai team won two games in Group B. They came in first in the group with a draw of seven points, but in the semi-finals, they lost to the Vietnamese team, which came in second in the best group, by two goals and missed the final.
The Myanmar team has won two championships, two first-runners up and one second-runners up throughout the ASEAN U-16 Championship.
After participating in the finals in the 2015 tournament, the Myanmar team has not been able to participate in the finals for the last five consecutive times, including this time.
