Myanmar U-23 team heading to Asian Games

The Myanmar U-23 men’s football team will compete in the XIX Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China, as stated by the Myanmar Football Federation.
Team Myanmar has been competing in a series of international tournaments since August and will join the Asian Games just days after the Asian Cup U-23 qualifiers.
Germany’s Michael Feichtenbeiner will be the head coach of the Myanmar U-23 team. Team Myanmar will take training in Yangon for a few days before leaving for China, and the final roster will be announced.
The men’s football tournament of the Asian Games will be held from 19 September to 7 October, and the Myanmar squad will face host China, Bangladesh and India in the same group. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
