Myanmar women’s squad leave for Cambodia ahead of SEA Games Women’s Football Event

Myanmar women’s football team left Yangon International Airport on 30 April and arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport, Cambodia on the same day to compete in the Thirty-second South-East Asian (SEA) Games Women’s Football event which will be hosted by Cambodia, according to the yesterday’s statement issued by the Myanmar Football Federation.
The Myanmar women’s national team will stay and take training in a Phnom Penh hotel with other contending teams, arranged by the host country.
Team Myanmar is placed in the group (A) with the Philippines, defending champion Viet Nam, and Malaysia, and all group matches will be played at the RCAF stadium. Team Myanmar will face the Philippines on 3 May (7:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time), Viet Nam on 6 May (3:30 pm MST), and the Malaysia on 9 May (3:30 pm MST), respectively.
The host country, Cambodia will broadcast the matches live free through social media, the MFF revealed. — KZL
