Myanmar’s arts, culture, lacquerware on display at ASEAN Fest 2023 in Indonesia

Myanmar displayed its traditional crafts, cultural products and lacquerware at the ASEAN Fest 2023 held in Jakarta of Indonesia, according to Myanmar Embassy to Indonesia.
The ASEAN Fest 2023 that highlights the arts and culture of ASEAN countries was held at Jakarta Convention Centre from 22 to 25 August.
The Myanmar Embassy and the Office of Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN showed off Myanmar’s arts and culture including lacquerware at the event, and shared knowledge about Myanmar to the visitors to booths of Myanmar.
The event was organized by the Bank of Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia as side event to the 2nd ASEAN Ministers of Finance and Governors of the Central Bank (AFMGM) meeting. The event presented traditional dances of ASEAN countries and quiz games.
It was also held in commemoration of 56th ASEAN Day and 43rd ASEAN Summit and helping people learn about ASEAN cultures.
The embassies of ASEAN member countries in Jakarta participated in the event with each country’s icons, including their culinary variety. — ASH/KTZH
